Engie (Gaz de France/SUEZ) hat auch Pläne für
Märkisch Buchholz in Brandenburg:
"Im brandenburgischen Märkisch Buchholz möchten wir - sobald alle notwendigen Genehmigungen vorliegen - aus einem bereits bekannten Reservoir Erdgas und Kondensat fördern."
"The Märkisch Buchholz reservoir lies in Brandenburg, around 50 km
south-east of Berlin. GDF SUEZ E&P Deutschland developed the field with
three exploration wells in 1986. However, we were unable to use the
reservoir for production because the gas has a very high nitrogen
content. Now new processing technologies are making commercial
production possible. In autumn 2015 we will be carrying out production
tests that should confirm our technical plans. The processing plant
will be constructed as part of an intra-group collaboration, and gas
production is scheduled to start in 2019. In a separate project (but
still closely linked to gas production), we and other ENGIE
subsidiaries are aiming to provide the town of Märkisch Buchholz and
the surrounding communities with a carbon-neutral energy supply in the
medium term."
